    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.criticalmassgames.com/criticalmassgames/member_profile.asp?PF=404">Wonderdog</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> First 15mm models!<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 13 May 2012 at 17:45<br /><br />Airbrushed and shaded some stuff - ran out of gunboat green airbrush paint, so have had to order some more before I can get the recon infantry done - I did get the drop troops and vehicles base coated though.<br /><br />Here are some of the infantry - I settled on a 2:1 Ink / water(had run out of "proper" thinner as well - sigh) mix.<br /><br /><img src="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/38160572/Linked%20photos/undercoated2.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br />And here are hte 2 Recon walkers.<br /><br /><img src="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/38160572/Linked%20photos/undercoated3.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br />In my excitement to get the ink on I completely forgot to prepaint the guns , buts its not biggy - just an extra step.<br /><br /><img src="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/38160572/Linked%20photos/undercoated1.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br />I've magnetised my tank turret - makes it handy for storage, posing and painting - and I can attach a big iron nail to the magnet on each side to holt the bits while I airbrushed them!]]>

I have seen Evilrik do some nice conversion work where he sculpted a canvass mantle cover over the top too which looked pretty slick.]]>
