Hi Gamma, glad you got to see what we are about at Border Reiver, we had a great day out and I certainly enjoyed running the participation games.
However keen you think you are, I am keener!

Took one look at the table at border Reivers and realised the money I saved quitting tournament paintball had just found a new home.

The models are the best I've seen and a real step above anything else on show. Design wise, they are right up there with Rackham before they all went insane.

I took my nephew along as a bit of an intervention to try and break his addiction to Wh40K.
It didn't take any effort at all, we walked past the end of the critical mass table and his head almost snapped off. I'm hoping Nissan will make something like the Fenryr transport soon as it would sort out my parking issues, on second thoughts it would probably need to be Volvo.

So, thanks for that, and after a first read of the rules, I'm impressed... a streamlined 'epic' system without dumbing down.

I'm in Sunderland, and I'm sure after border Reivers there are enough of us converted in the North East to set something up :) I've got a regular gaming group going every Tuesday and they will be obsessed this time tommorow.

Hi all,

I've been playing wargames for the last 12 years. Played various kinds. Mostly gamesworshop games as that is where I can get the most opponents regularly. I have however been a faithful Flames of War player since 2001 and I blame that for launching what I call the 15mm bug. A bug that had me looking at other games such as Field of Glory, Blitzkrieg commander and most recently, Ambush alley. For sci-fi I've tried Imperial commander, which has been updated under the guise of Beamstrike, Dirt-side, Future war commander and the like. Fun in their own right but they didn't quite get the feel I wanted out of a game. Epic was perhaps the closest together with future war, but 6mm was never my style and future war, well it's a little to generic.

From what I've seen so far, this game looks amazing. The 15mm models are top notch and the style is distinct!

I look forward to trying out the beta and hopefully building up a couple of factions and start recruiting. As I always say, "it takes two to tango, but why tango when you can conga!"

Cheers everyone!

Airborne
