Well things do not always run to plan and this month things have taken a turn for the worse with a whole slew of moulds being lost by a courier. We have been trying hard this past week to get this sorted but it is looking unlikely this will be resolved swiftly.
So what does this mean? well basically these releases are now on hold as a knock on effect of those moulds going missing. Mercenaries - Ygarra Ygs Power Armour - 1 Kit (MCVH14a - £TBA) Mercenaries - Ygaden Ygs Assault Mecha - 1 Kit (MCVH13a - £TBA) Mercenaries - Vipera Astagar Power Armour - 1 Kit (MCVH12a - £TBA) Mercenaries - Volos Astagar Assault Mecha - 1 Kit (MCVH11a - £TBA) Mercenaries - AH40T "Warmonger" Main Battle Tank Tracked Variant - 1 Kit (MCVH5a - £11.00) Mercenaries - AH40G "Warmonger" Main Battle Grav Variant - 1 Kit (MCVH6a - £11.00) Mercenaries - AH41T "Vanquisher" Self Propelled Artillery Tracked Variant - 1 Kit (MCVH7a - £11.00) Mercenaries - AH41G "Vanquisher" Self Propelled Artillery Grav variant - 1 Kit (MCVH8a - £11.00) Mercenaries - AH42T "Hellfire" Anti Aircraft Tracked Variant - 1 Kit (MCVH9a - £11.00) Mercenaries - AH42G "Hellfire" Anti Aircraft Grav Variant - 1 Kit (MCVH10a - £11.00) Whilst this is a set back for us it is not a total disaster, we still have the ability to create new masters for moulding and that process is underway, but as with everything it does take time, but time that we will use to reassess the schedule whislt the moulds are done again. We can only apologise for the incovinence this may have caused to those of you waiting on these new releases. In the mean time our back up plan is kicking in and the Tamaska/Fenrir kit having been remastered and remoulded is now being thrown to the fore as a replacement for this months release. Protolene Khanate - Tamaska/Fenrir - 1 Kit (PRVH8a - £15.00) Protolene Khanate - Tamaska/Fenrir Platoon - 2 Kits (PRVH8b - £29.00) ![]() The main change with this kit (as with the recently re-released Marrok) is that the kit is much easier to assemble due to cast leg components, meaning this kit will now assemble in the same fashion as the Okami. Casting the legs this way alone has ment a reduction in the part count which in turn has seen the price reduce from £20 to £15, and also allowed us to pack all the components for a Tamaska and Fenrir in one blister. The legs alone have dropped from a part count of 14 to 4. Old Tamaska Kit Components Total: 20 Old Fenrir Kit Components Total: 21 New Tamaska/Fenrir Kit Components Total: 12 Whilst this kit is designed to allow you to build either a Tamaska or Fenrir, you could have both options available if you are willing to spend some time magnestising the weapons and Fenrir Troop Pod. ![]() As you have see there are a variety of legs poses and each kit will be supplied with a random pair of front and rear legs. ![]() One final minor tweak with this kit is that it is no longer hollow underneath meaning the belly plate from the previous kit no longer exists, resulting in one less piece to glue in. We hope you like the revised Tamaska/Fenrir kit and bere with us whilst we get over this little bump in our plans. Thanks Craig Edited by criticalmass - 21 Jun 2012 at 09:46 |
